From Washington, DC

Take I-66 west to I-81 south. Stay on I-81 south for only 2 miles and at Exit #296, take route 55 west to Wardensville, WV. (Make sure you go 25 mph through this town.) After you pass through Wardensville, Main Street merges onto the new Route 55 (a.k.a. Corridor H). Continue on Corridor H over the beautiful mountaintops of West Virginia to the Baker exit. Turn left at the bottom of the exit ramp onto Route 259 south. Approximately one mile later Route 259 makes a hard left at the BP Corner Mart gas station. Continue south on Route 259 to Lost River (7 miles). Immediately after passing the Lost River General Store, turn left onto Mill Gap Road. Continue two miles, turn left onto Settlers Valley Way and take the second driveway on the right. Continue straight ahead to the Guest House lobby to check in.

From Baltimore, MD

Take I-70 west to Frederick, MD. Follow Route 340 West to Route 7 West. Go west on Route 7 to I-81 South. At Exit #296, take route 55 west to Wardensville, WV. (Make sure you go 25 mph through this town.) You will now be on Route 259 south and Route 55 at the same time. Continue South to Baker, WV and make a hard left after the BP gas station to continue south on Route 259 to Lost River (7 miles).

Immediately after passing the Lost River General Store, turn left onto Mill Gap Road. Continue two miles, turn left onto Settlers Valley Way and take the second driveway on the right. Continue straight ahead to the Guest House lobby to check in.

From Richmond-Norfolk, VA

Take I-64 West to I-81 North to Exit #257 (BROADWAY, MAUZY, TIMBERVILLE). At end of the exit ramp turn left across the bridge, bear right and follow signs for 259 West and Broadway (5 miles). At the third stoplight turn left and follow 259 West to Lost River (30 miles).

From Pittsburgh, PA and Ohio

There are several routes you may take to get to Cumberland, Maryland from the Pittsburgh area. In Cumberland, take I-68 to Exit #43-A, Beall Street. (This is WV alt Route 28 South). Follow this to Romney, WV. In the middle of Romney turn left off Route 28 onto Route 50 East. It is about six or seven miles to Augusta; you will pass right through and go about two miles where you will make a right onto Route 29 South. Route 29 South will take you to the intersection of Route 55/259.

Turn right onto 55/259 and continue South to Baker, WV. Make a hard left after the BP gas station to continue south on Route 259 to Lost River (7 miles).

Immediately after passing the Lost River General Store, turn left onto Mill Gap Road. Continue two miles, turn left onto Settlers Valley Way and take the second driveway on the right. Continue straight ahead to the Guest House lobby to check in.

From Charleston, WV

Take I-64 East to I-81 North to Exit #257 (BROADWAY, MAUZY, TIMBERVILLE). At end of the exit ramp turn left across the bridge, bear right and follow signs for 259 West and Broadway (5 miles). At the second stoplight turn left and follow 259 West to Lost River (30 miles).

Shortly after passing the Lost River Grill, turn right onto Mill Gap Road immediately after the large victorian red brick house with a small white deer in the yard. Continue two miles, turn left onto Settlers Valley Way and take the second driveway on the right. Continue straight ahead to the Guest House lobby to check in.

From New York, NY

Take I-78 Express West from New York City to I-78 West. Continue on I-78 through New Jersey into Pennsylvania to Harrisburg and merge onto I-81 South at Harrisburg. I-81 continues into Maryland, then West Virginia and finally Virginia. At Exit #296, take route 55 west to Wardensville, WV. (Make sure you go 25 mph through this town.) You will now be on Route 259 south and Route 55 at the same time.
